iPlan Engineering Manager
iPlan Engineering Manager is the information technology solution for controlling engineering events. Used by the refining and petrochemical industries, Engineering Manager is a comprehensive, easy-to-use system for planning, managing and executing a range of events, including: plant turnarounds, construction programs and routine annual maintenance.
Engineering Manager provides organisations with a central repository for all event information. Event plans and related data, such as work activity specifications, can be accessed securely by any authorised user, at any time and updated via easy-to-use forms. Designed to fully integrate with scheduling and project management tools (such as Primavera & Microsoft Project) Engineering Manager maintains a clear and live picture of your event, keeping you in full control of all aspects. With planning & execution fully centralised your organization can easily keep track of event costs and resources before, during and after an event.
Powerful planning methodology, proven to reduce reliance on expert planners, is built into Engineering Manager to provide users with a set of planning processes and procedures based on industry best-practice. Not only does this enable planners to work to consistently high standards, but it significantly streamlines the planning process and automatically generates detailed and reliable resource lists and other job information, reducing the risk of incorrect equipment or materials being used by event personnel. With less time spent on routine planning tasks, planners are able to focus on improving the quality of the plan & dealing with emerging works.
Unlike other systems, Engineering Manager does not need to be operated by expert planners or costly third-party consultants.
At all stages of an event your organization retains 24/7 access to its event information, via a secure website, providing confidence that your planning data will not be misplaced or corrupted.
Engineering Manager reduces the duration of planning your event and enables better control of costs, while improving consistency, quality, reliability and safety.

iPlan Emergency Manager
iPlan Emergency Manager is an easy-to-use software system for; the storage & retrieval of emergency pre-plans & supporting incident responders in making important decisions during an emergency.
Emergency Manager provides the user with a map of his / her facility, designed to improve pre-planning, training and ensure responders are ‘best-prepared’ when attending an emergency situation. The software is designed to be accessed from within major emergency control rooms, command vehicles and fire pumps.
Emergency Manager can also be used in a classroom setting, facilitating the development of emergency pre-plans, assisting in table top exercises and helping process operators and new fire fighters learn and recognise the key geographic features of any location: from a single process unit to an entire facility.
By providing a map view of the relative location of resources and existing infrastructure, Emergency Manager enables the clear visualisation of your scenario. Tools such as foam calculators, plume dispersion modellers, firewater bund volume calculators, cooling requirements, hose run modellers, effluent run off, ring main capacity and hydrant throughputs are provided to support the determination of incident impact and resource deployment requirements. These tools reflect the latest Fire Engineering standards, allowing owner operators to conform to guidelines set out in "IP Model code of safe practice in the petroleum industry : Part 19 Fire precautions at petroleum refineries and bulk storage facilities" and recommendations released post Buncefield (please see www.buncefieldinvestigation.gov.uk).

iPlan Pipeline Manager
iPlan Pipeline Manager is a map based system designed to maintain, manage and support the safe operation of pipeline networks. Pipeline Manager delivers an interactive map view of pipeline location, pipeline and product information, incident status and engineering records, underpinned by comprehensive decision support tools, which support the safe and responsible management of pipeline networks.
Pipeline Manager provides secure online access to a map view of an organisation’s pipeline network. Control room personnel and other authorised users can simply log in to access up to date information about the pipeline and analyse this information in support of business-critical & key engineering decisions.
Users can easily determine the real-time location of products in transit within the pipeline. Storage tank volume & grade can be displayed on top of the map and the system also enables automatic alarms to be configured to help prevent storage tank capacity been exceeded. In the event of pipeline rupture easy to use tools enable users to quickly determine the potential impact of an incident on the surrounding area and locate nearby emergency services, response personnel, medical care and response equipment.
The mapping interface enables users to view and analyse a wealth of spatial and non-spatial data to accurately determine ‘high consequence areas’, where a pipeline incident could have a significant impact on public safety. Furthermore, the system permits the storage of incident response details, for future evaluation and improvement of incident response.
